Developmental Areas
Creative Expression
Little hands use a range of materials to express themselves freely, turning ideas into vibrant creations.
Music
Music Time invites children to explore rhythm, sound, and song, helping them develop listening skills, coordination, and joy through music.
Science
At CCA young minds investigate nature, ask questions, and experiment with real-world materials, sparking wonder and critical thinking.
Literacy
In our Phonics and Early Reading program, we use Lively Letters, an engaging, research-based approach that brings letters to life with characters, stories, and movement. This multi-sensory method supports each child’s journey toward recognizing sounds, blending, and developing foundational reading skills in a fun, memorable way.
Numeracy
Mathematics Time is filled with natural materials, manipulatives, and real-life tools that inspire counting, sorting, measuring, and pattern-making—helping children build number sense in meaningful, hands-on ways.
Large Motor
CCA encourages physical expression through dance, yoga, obstacle courses, and outdoor play—building strength, balance, and confidence.

Kidzfun will be visiting our school regularly to lead fun, high-energy fitness sessions that keep children moving, laughing, and building healthy habits.
Social & Emotional
Social and emotional skills are woven into every part of our day. Through collaborative play, problem-solving, and guided reflection, children learn to recognize and express their feelings, develop empathy, and build positive relationships. Our nurturing environment helps children gain confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of self within a caring community.
Fine Motor Development
Fine motor skills are supported through activities like drawing, beading, cutting, pouring, and using tongs or tweezers. These experiences strengthen the small muscles of the hands and fingers—preparing children for writing, self-care tasks, and other essential skills.
Language &
Communication
In our language-rich environment, children build strong communication skills through storytelling, conversation, songs, and dramatic play. We encourage children to express their thoughts, ask questions, and engage in meaningful dialogue with peers and teachers. With access to books, writing materials, and open-ended discussions, children learn to listen, speak, read, and write with confidence—laying the foundation for lifelong literacy and self-expression.
