Miss Mimi
Founder/ Director
Michelle Sousa has always been inspired by the joy, curiosity, and endless possibilities of early childhood. While earning her Bachelor's degree in South Africa, she had the opportunity to teach preschool, kindergarten, and the early elementary grades, but it was in the preschool classroom where she truly found her passion.
For more than 14 years, Michelle proudly owned and taught at Cobblestone Corner Preschool, an in-home program where she combined her professional knowledge with the everyday lessons of motherhood. As a parent of three children, she understands the importance of creating a school where children feel known, families feel supported, and learning is filled with excitement and purpose.
Committed to lifelong learning, Michelle holds a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, is licensed to teach Kindergarten through Grade 2 in Massachusetts, has earned her Wilson Reading certification, and completed a Post-Master's degree in Early Childhood Research and Policy at UMass Boston.
As the founder of Cobblestone Corner Academy, Michelle's vision is to create an environment where children are encouraged to ask questions, think creatively, develop meaningful friendships, and discover a genuine love of learning. She believes the preschool years should be filled with exploration, laughter, and experiences that children will carry with them long after they leave her classroom.

Miss Alli
Preschool Teacher
As both a mother of three and a volunteer coach with Reading Youth Field Hockey, Allison Fusco understands the value of encouragement, teamwork, and helping children believe in themselves. She brings those same qualities into her classroom each day, creating a place where children feel welcomed, supported, and excited to participate.
Allison has a special passion for helping children who may need extra encouragement, believing that every child deserves to feel included, respected, and capable of success. She enjoys celebrating each child's individual strengths while helping them develop confidence, resilience, and positive relationships with their classmates.
Her calm, patient nature helps children feel comfortable taking on new challenges, solving problems, and learning to work together. Allison believes that strong communication with families creates the best foundation for children's growth, and she values the partnerships she builds with parents throughout the school year.
She is proud to be part of the Cobblestone Corner Academy family and looks forward to helping every child develop not only academically, but also into a kind, compassionate, and confident individual.

Miss Kelley
Pre-K Teacher
With more than 30 years of experience in early childhood education, Kelley Davidson brings a wealth of knowledge, patience, and dedication to her Pre-K classroom. As a longtime Reading resident, she has had the privilege of teaching many local families over the years and treasures the lasting relationships she has built within the community.
Kelley believes children learn best when they are given opportunities to explore, think independently, and discover solutions for themselves. Her calm and reassuring presence helps children feel comfortable trying new things while developing the confidence and skills they need for kindergarten and beyond.
Preparing children for their next educational journey is one of Kelley's greatest joys. She takes pride in helping each child strengthen not only their academic readiness, but also their problem-solving abilities, responsibility, and growing sense of independence.
Outside of school, Kelley enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. She is grateful to continue serving the community she calls home and feels honored to play a small part in so many children's earliest school memories.

Miss Ann
Support Educator
Ann Dillaway brings more than 23 years of experience working with children from infancy through age six. After successfully owning and operating her own childcare program for over two decades, she retired in 2023 to spend more time with her growing family and six grandchildren.
Today, Ann enjoys sharing her experience at Cobblestone Corner Academy in a unique role that combines two of her greatest passions-caring for children and cooking. As our in-house chef, she lovingly prepares homemade breakfasts, lunches, and snacks each day, believing that nutritious meals are an important part of helping children feel comfortable, cared for, and ready to learn.
Whether she is spending time in the classroom or the kitchen, Ann strives to be a positive role model who treats every child with patience, kindness, and respect. She believes that the little moments-sharing a story, preparing a favorite meal, or offering a reassuring smile, often leave the biggest impression.
When she isn't at school, Ann enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, and making memories with her grandchildren, who continue to inspire her every day.

Miss Sam
Transitional K Teacher
After many years of successfully operating her own family child care program, Sam brings a wealth of experience and a practical understanding of early childhood education to Cobblestone Corner Academy. She believes one of the greatest gifts educators can give children is the confidence to do things for themselves.
Sam encourages children to make choices, solve everyday problems, take on new responsibilities, and celebrate their accomplishments with pride. Her classroom is built on the belief that independence grows through encouragement, patience, and opportunities to practice new skills in a supportive environment.
Just as importantly, Sam is passionate about helping children become kind, respectful, and inclusive members of their classroom community. She believes that learning how to care for others, celebrate differences, and build meaningful friendships is just as valuable as preparing for kindergarten academically.
Outside of school, Sam enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on her favorite sports teams. She brings that same spirit of teamwork, perseverance, and positivity into her classroom each day and looks forward to helping every child grow into a confident, compassionate, and capable learner.

Miss Kim
Preschool Teacher
Kim brings a thoughtful and child-centered approach to early childhood education, grounded in her background in Human Development, Psychology, and Child Life. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development, where she developed a deep understanding of how children learn, grow, and build confidence through meaningful experiences.
Having worked with children from infancy through adolescence, Kim values meeting each child where they are developmentally and recognizing the unique strengths they bring to the classroom. She believes that children learn best through purposeful play, hands-on exploration, and opportunities to ask questions, solve problems, and discover new ideas.
Kim enjoys designing engaging learning experiences that inspire creativity, encourage independence, and help children develop strong social and emotional skills alongside their academic growth. She believes that a classroom should be a place where children feel comfortable taking risks, expressing themselves, and celebrating every achievement, big or small.
Outside of school, Kim enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, reading, and finding creative inspiration for new classroom activities. She is excited to partner with families to help make every child's preschool experience meaningful, joyful, and filled with discovery.

Miss Laura
Preschool Teacher
With more than 10 years of experience in early childhood education, Laura is passionate about creating a classroom where children feel connected, encouraged, and excited to come to school each day. She believes that the strongest learning happens when children feel secure, valued, and supported by the caring relationships around them.
Laura enjoys creating meaningful learning experiences that encourage children to think creatively, work together, and explore the world with confidence. She believes every child has unique strengths and takes pride in helping each one develop socially, emotionally, and academically at their own pace.
Building strong partnerships with families is an important part of Laura's teaching philosophy. She values open communication and believes that when educators and families work together, children are able to flourish both inside and outside the classroom.
When she's not at school, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, relaxing at the beach or by the lake, and staying active through Pilates.
She is excited to be part of the Cobblestone Corner Academy community and looks forward to creating joyful memories while helping every child build a strong foundation for future learning.

Miss Maeghan
Preschool Support Educator & Spanish Teacher
Maeghan believes that learning another language opens the door to new friendships, new experiences, and a greater appreciation for the world around us. With a Bachelor of Arts in World Languages and Cultures, she is excited to introduce children to Spanish through engaging, age-appropriate experiences that make learning both fun and meaningful.
Through music, movement, storytelling, games, and hands-on activities, Maeghan creates joyful opportunities for children to hear, speak, and explore Spanish in ways that feel natural and exciting. She believes that early exposure to language helps build confidence, curiosity, and an appreciation for different cultures.
As Cobblestone Corner Academy's Spanish teacher and Preschool Support Educator, Maeghan enjoys bringing energy and creativity into every classroom she visits. Her goal is to help children discover that learning a new language can be an exciting adventure while creating positive experiences that inspire a lifelong interest in communication and cultural exploration.
Outside of school, Maeghan enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and discovering new places and cultures. She is thrilled to be part of the Cobblestone Corner Academy family and looks forward to helping children develop a love for language while making every lesson engaging, memorable, and fun.
