Miss Ann

Support Educator

Ann Dillaway brings over 23 years of professional experience, working with children ranging in age from four months to six years. For more than two decades, she successfully owned and operated her own childcare business before retiring in 2023 to support the care of her grandchildren.

Now that her family responsibilities have shifted, Ann is excited to return to the classroom.

Ann believes a teacher’s role is to serve as a positive role model, recognizing that every child is unique and deserving of love, respect, and understanding.

One of her favorite ways to connect with children is through reading—a passion she feels nurtures the imagination and opens the door to endless possibilities.

In her free time, Ann enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her six beloved grandchildren.

Miss Mimi

Director

and Preschool teacher

Michelle Sousa has always been inspired by the joy, curiosity, and wonder that young children bring to the world. While earning her Bachelor’s degree in South Africa, she had the opportunity to teach across preschool, kindergarten, and early elementary settings—but it was in preschool where she truly felt at home.

For the past 14 years, Michelle has proudly owned and taught at Cobblestone Corner Preschool, an in-home program where she has combined her professional expertise with the everyday insights of motherhood. As a parent to three children, she brings both heart and experience to everything she does.

Michelle is committed to lifelong learning and staying at the forefront of early education. She holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, is certified to teach Kindergarten through Grade 2 in Massachusetts, and has earned a Wilson Reading certification. Most recently, she completed her Post-Master’s degree in Early Childhood Research and Policy at UMass Boston.

Known for her energy, warmth, and attentiveness, Michelle finds joy in the little moments—ABC's sung with giggles, questions asked with wide eyes, and the everyday magic of early learning.
